Dialog: Sunnylands, the winter home of Walter and Leonore Annenberg from 1966 until 2009, reflects the vision of its owners and design team–architect A. Quincy Jones, interior designer William Haines and golf course designer Dick Wilson. The mid-century modem estate has been preserved for its new life as a high-level retreat center and historic site open for public tours.

Janice Lyle, will explore the history of the property, its changes over time, and the current practices used to preserve the fragile fabrics, interior furnishings, art collection, and the cultural landscape.

Janice Lyle, PhD, is Director of the Sunnylands Center & Gardens. Before joining the Annenberg Foundation Trust, she was Executive Director of the Palm Springs Desert (now Art) Museum. She lectures extensively on Modern Architecture.

Michael Stern is an author, curator, and artist. He has lectured considerably across the country and made numerous television and film appearances discussing the joys of modern architecture.
