DJ David Bullock & DJ Nicolaas Black 1:00PM – 5:00PM Tag Team

David Bullock is a multi-instrumentalist, house music DJ and producer. His love for sound experimentation began at an early age growing up in a musical household. After years of exploring the underground scene in the late 90’s, he landed in LA. And in 2003, passion ensued and his DJ career began. Residencies at local hot spots garnered an enthusiastic and loyal audience. His deep understanding of music and eclectic taste create a unique versatility that find him performing all over the country from Disney to Hollywood rooftops. For close to 20 years he has been curating deep, infectious dance grooves and a feel-good atmosphere.

Japanese calligrapher, Sogen Chiba will recreate his factory at THE LA ART Show 2020 and create various artworks for a few hours each day in front of his huge artwork “3.11 Requiem and Revival”. LA Art Show attendees can watch his work in progress right in his factory.

ICHITAKA KAMIJI (SCULPTURE DEMO)

Kamiji recreates historical works such as Japanese Buddhist sculptures or statues of David for modern times as if they were living people. The artist will be demonstrating his creative process and sensitive technology throughout the show working on Goliath, which appears in the work of the Renaissance master Caravaggio.

CELEBRATING DIVERSITY: PRIDE FLAG UNFURLED BY CHIACHIO & GIANNONE (Q&A)

To commemorate local and international LGBTQ+ communities around the world, the artists will unfurl the 120 ft. long textile flag, MOLAA’s new acquisition “Californian Family in Six Colors 1” created by the artists at MOLAA where more than 3,000 members of the Long Beach and Los Angeles community collaborated in the creation of the flag.
